Vasilis Pitsilis is an Electrical Engineer, holding a degree from the University of Patras. With nearly 20 years of experience as an external scientific associate at NCSR “Demokritos,” he has served as lead developer, integration architect, technical lead and coordinator in various EU-funded R&D projects, focusing on cloud-edge architectures, IoT applications, network and compute resource virtualization, and B5G applications. His research spans a broad range of domains, including energy and agriculture, contributing to their digital transformation. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed papers.
