Dr. Vasileios Baousis is a Senior Analyst at the European Center of Medium Weather Forecast and he has a background in both weather forecasting and computing. He completed a BSc at the Hellenic Air Force Academy before becoming an operational weather forecaster at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service. Currently, Vasileios is a primary investigator (PI) and technical manager for a number of European Commission (EC) funded projects. chairs sessions and serves regularly in Scientific and Program committees of international conferences and as a regular reviewer of International Scientific Journals.
