Till Christopher Lech started his professional career in the software industry, active in the fields of semantic web, search technology and data/text mining. Before joining SINTEF, Till was employed as Special Adviser at the Research Council of Norway working on both national and international ICT research and innovation policy as national expert on the ICT Programme Committee and other ICT related working groups in FP7 and H2020. Since 2017, Till has been heading the Smart Data research group at SINTEF, overseeing the group’s involvement in several international and national projects. While coordinating SINTEF’s activities in the areas of Big Data and Data Sharing, Till also serves as a member of the BDVA Board of Directors.
