Sebastian Werner

Sebastian Werner is an accomplished researcher working at ISE, TU Berlin, Germany and currently a work package leader in Horizon Europe Project TEADAL working on accountability and trustworthiness in federated data lakes. His main expertise lies in serverless technology and the design of distributed, cloud-based applications. Sebastian earned his PhD. On the topic of serverless data processing and application platform co-design in 2023. His current research focuses on sustainability, maintainability, and trustworthiness in platform-based applications. Sebastian is passionate about addressing these challenges of the next generation of cloud-computing platforms both in his research and his teaching.
