Roberto Di Bernardo is Senior Technical Manager at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica. He is an Electronic Engineer with Professional Master’s diplomas in “Clinical Engineering” and in “Internet Software Engineering”. He has been working as researcher at Engineering R&I Laboratory since 2004, being involved both in management and technical activities in many research projects. He is now leading the R&I Grant Office of the company, also acting as R&I business developer in the fields of Digital Government, Smart Cities and Digital Water. He is currently involved in key projects like: URBREATH (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-CITIES-01-01), IDEATION (HORIZON-MISS-2023-OCEAN-01-09), and WATERVERSE (HORIZON-CL4-2021-DATA-01-03). Besides, he is active within Big Data Value Association, leading the Smart Governance and Smart Cities Task Force, and within Water Europe, co-leading the Digital Water Systems Management Expert Group.
