Prof. Ramin Karim is a PhD in Operation and Maintenance Engineering with a specialisation in Industrial AI & eMaintenance. Currently, he is head of the research team in Industrial AI and eMaintenance and the Director of the Centre of Intelligent Asset Management. After obtaining his degree in computer science, Prof. Karim has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry His research interest includes AI-empowered analytics for nowcasting and forecasting to augment industrial asset management. Prof. Karim has initiated and developed the concept and the technology platform of ‘AI Factory’ aimed for enhanced analytics in industrial asset management.
