Nikos Mellios is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Civil Engineering department, University of Thessaly, Greece. He has an extensive research experience by participating in several national and EU-funded projects, such as LAKEREMAKE, ISS-EWATUS, ALLIANCE, SIM4NEXUS, NANOSWS, WATER4CITIES, LOTUS, MAGO, SMARTEN, NEXOGENESIS, and ARSINOE. He is a Working Group co-leader of the NEXUSNET Cost Action CA20138. He holds a PhD on “Environmental Informatics and Ecological Modeling for Sustainable Water Systems” under the supervision of Prof. Chrysi Laspidou. His scientific work has been published in reputable scientific journals, such as Ecological Engineering and Water Research.
