Dr. Nikolaos S. Tachos currently serves as a Research Associate at the Unit of Medical Technology and Intelligent Information Systems within the Department of Materials Science and Technology at University of Ioannina and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). His primary research interests lie in the development and application of advanced methodologies for the processing and analysis of large-scale medical and related data, leveraging cutting-edge trustworthy artificial intelligence techniques for data analysis, along with computational modelling in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Tachos is also a highly experienced specialist in regulatory affairs, particularly in the Medical Devices Regulation (MDR).
