Matthijs Punter is a senior researcher at TNO Data Ecosystems. His research focuses on achieving large scale interoperability between systems and organizations. Through his research he has been an advocate for data sovereignty, both from a technical and organizational perspective. From a technical perspective he has worked on new standards for decentralized data sharing architectures as part of a wider ‘data space’. Through the Data Spaces Support Centre, he is supporting the development and scale-up of data spaces in many different sectors.
