Martin Traunmueller
Urban Data Scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH
Martin is an expert in urban computing and data science, both professionally and academically. He worked as design architect in Dubai and Vienna, before continuing his academic career at The Bartlett, the Intel Research Institute on Cities / Department of Computer Science (PhD) at the University College London (UCL) and as McArthur fellow at NYU’s Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP), applying data analytics to urban design in the smart city context. Currently, Martin uses his knowledge at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) as researcher at the intersection between data science and data spaces.
