Konstantinos (Kostis) Mavrogiorgos graduated from the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus with honors in 2021 and holds a master’s degree in Advanced Information Systems. He is a researcher and PhD candidate of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus focusing on algorithms and approaches to mitigate bias in data and in machine learning algorithms. His general research interests are based on the fields of data management and analysis, as well as machine learning. In this context, he has participated in several National and European research projects, such as beHEALTHIER, InteropEHRate and AI4Gov.
