Konstantina Bereta
Research Coordinator/Senior Researcher at MarineTraffic
Dr. Konstantina Bereta works as a Research Coordinator/Senior Researcher at MarineTraffic. She holds a BSc, a MSc, and a PhD in Computer Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant for 7 years as a member of the Management of Data, Information, and Knowledge group before moving to the R&D department of MarineTraffic (now part of Kpler) in 2019. Konstantina has worked as a researcher for over 10 years and has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of Big Data, AI, and geospatial data processing. In her current role, she leads research projects in these areas to address real-world problems in the maritime industry.
