Kerstin Bach is Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is Director of the Norwegian Open AI Lab and Research Director of NorwAI. Her research focuses on applied AI, machine learning, explainable and trustworthy AI, with particular interests in health, decision support, and human-centered systems. She is active in international AI communities and works to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and the public sector.
