Julia Palma is the EU Programme Manager at CeADAR, Ireland’s Centre for Applied AI, managing the centre’s international strategic partnerships and its involvement in global AI policy. She holds a leadership role as Chair of the Ethical and Trustworthy Artificial and Machine Intelligence taskforce within the European Big Data Value Association (BDVA), and the Global AI Policy Research Network (GlobAIpol). Julia currently contributes to the EU AI Office working group, assisting in the creation of the Code of Practice for AI transparency under the EU AI Act, and is a member of Ireland’s AI National Office and EU AI Office Network of Communicators.
