Ilaria Baroni is a Project Manager and Senior Researcher at Cefriel in Milan, Italy. Her work centers on knowledge-centric AI and human–AI collaboration, with a focus on facilitating knowledge exchange between people and AI systems through HITL approaches. She has over a decade of experience managing national and European research projects in these fields and currently serves as the Project Manager of PERKS – a Horizon Europe project aimed at eliciting and exploiting procedural knowledge in Industry 5.0. Her research interests include knowledge representation and semantic technologies (e.g. knowledge graphs and ontologies) and user-centric artificial intelligence and its evaluation, Trustworthy AI, robotics.
