Heikki Ailisto works as a research professor at VTT. His core area of expertise and main focus is the digitalization of industry. During last 20+ years, his research activity has covered biometrics, IoT and artificial intelligence. Heikki Ailisto is coordinator of VTT activities and industrial co-operation in the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence, FCAI. He wants to develop AI technologies as feasible solutions beyond the obvious hype.
