Georgios Grigoropoulos is a Research Coordinator at MarineTraffic (part of Kpler Group), the world’s leading provider of ship tracking and maritime intelligence. In 2023 he received his PhD from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where he worked on resolving interactions among automated vehicles and cyclists in complex traffic situations. At MarineTraffic he is involved in EU-funded research projects in the fields of AI, autonomous vessels and trajectory analytics within the maritime domain.
