Georgios Bouchagiar

Georgios Bouchagiar is a researcher in law and technology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Informatics, AIIA Laboratory). He holds a Law degree (Athens Law School), an MS on Management of Cultural Property and New Technologies (Ionian University) and an LLM in Law and Technology (Tilburg University). Since 2018, his professional experience has included: tutoring/lecturing on criminal law and technology (University of Luxembourg; Free University of Brussels); research on face recognition and biometric surveillance (Tilburg University; Ionian University); and research on intellectual property rights and distributed ledger technologies (University of Amsterdam; University of Antwerp).
