Demetrios Eliades is a Research Assistant Professor at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus since 2019. He received a Diploma (2004) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, an MSc (2005) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and a PhD (2011) in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus. His main area of research is on Smart Water Networks modelling, monitoring and security, water losses, water quality and response to contamination events, and increase cyber-physical security.
