Dr. Christos Gizelis is a graduate of the Electronic Engineering Technology Department at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, USA (1995). He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the University of Essex, UK (1996), and a Ph.D. from the University of the Aegean, Department of Information and Communication Systems, specializing in Management and Control Techniques for Wireless Broadband Networks (2009).
His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, communication networks, Innovation management, and digital transformation. Since 1998, he has participated in numerous research projects funded by the European Union and national resources. He has published in international journals, conference proceedings, and books.
He has worked in various private telecommunications companies as a computer engineer and ICT consultant. He is also a certified adult trainer in ICT/Telecommunications. Since 2017, he has been working at the IT Innovation Center of OTE Group, and since 2025 he holds the position of Principal Innovation Analyst.
