Alexandros Kalafatelis BSc(Hons), BΕng, MSc, PhD(c), serves as a Senior Research Scientist at Four Dot Infinity P.C. Part of his research has been conducted in the framework of several European funded R&D projects (CyclOps, UniMaaS, OASEES, etc.). His current research focuses on Predictive Maintenance applications leveraging Federated Learning, with an emphasis on secure and optimized aggregation techniques. His broader interests include privacy-preserving AI, secure data space architectures, interoperability frameworks, and synthetic data generation to support scalable, compliant, and real-time ML solutions.
