Aidan O Mahony is a Senior Principal Research Scientist in the Dell Research Office at Dell Technologies, specializing in edge-cloud computing, data management, and data privacy. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Software Development. With over 15 years of leading development and research projects focusing on data management, storage, privacy, security, and encryption. He currently serves as the Technical and Scientific Coordinator for the Horizon Europe project GLACIATION (Green responsibLe privACy preservIng dAta operaTIONs). He has co-authored publications on cryptography, data compression, and hardware acceleration architectures and holds several patents in multiple areas.
