Synthetic data is artificially generated information (not produced by real-world events) that mimics real-world data while preserving its essential properties and statistical patterns. It is normally created using algorithms and models. It is increasingly used in different fields such as machine learning, data analysis, etc and applied to different sectors to enhance privacy, overcome the issue of data scarcity and create new innovations.

This workshop on synthetic data offers a deep dive into some of the strategies, challenges, and potential that synthetic data brings to various sectors. Through interactive discussions and expert-led presentations, participants will explore how synthetic data can solve industry-specific challenges and create new opportunities in fields like healthcare, insurance, automotive and beyond. The ultimate goal of this workshop is to foster a community of practitioners and innovators who are passionate about leveraging synthetic data for practical and ethical advancements.
