International Manufacturing-X Council: Make Data Work!
The key to boosting a company’s competitiveness as well as increasing its sustainability and resilience is digitalization! Data will play a central role in the digital transformation process, however, data driven manufacturing across complex value chains cannot be done alone – no country, no company, no research institute, no initiative, no association.
Cooperation is key. International cooperation is key. Join forces, share knowledge, and leverage synergies are the basis.
International Manufacturing-X will implement a federated, decentralized and collaborative data ecosystem for smart manufacturing that will “Make Data Work!” in an open, global and cross-industry paradigm, following FAIR Data Principles, to address improved resiliency and sustainability while stimulating competitiveness. The “International Manufacturing-X Council” announced in Valencia/Europe October 2023 at the “European Big Data value Forum 2023” is the group to trigger international R&D, partnerships, cooperation, standardization and deployment with and for customers globally.
Let’s get an update on this initiative, what is the status of “International Manufacturing-X Council”, who are the next partners and what are the next steps!
