EUH4D – EuroCC Synergies and alignment (bringing HPC-Data-AI ecosystems closer together)
Most of Europe’s SMEs lag behind in data-driven innovation. To tackle this problem, the EU-funded EUHubs4Data project I building a European federation of Data Innovation Hubs based on existing key players in this area and connecting with data incubators and platforms, SME networks, AI communities, skills and training organizations and open data repositories. The European federation of Data Driven Innovation Hubs aims to consolidate as the European reference for data driven innovation and experimentation, fostering collaboration between data driven initiatives in Europe, federating solutions in a global common catalogue of data services, and sharing data in a cross-border and cross-sector basis. Supercomputing is a critical tool for understanding and responding to complex challenges and transforming them into innovation opportunities. EuroHPC JU aims to develop, deploy, extend and maintain in the EU a world-leading federated, secure and hyper-connected supercomputing, quantum computing, service and data infrastructure ecosystem. The project EuroCC has established a single National Competence Centre (NCC) in the area of HPC in their respective countries. These NCCs will coordinate activities in all HPC-related fields at the national level and serve as a contact point for customers from industry, science, (future) HPC experts, and the general public alike.
This session is out how we best can connect and work together to enable all society to make use of the benefits of data driven innovation.
