Data Value creation
Scope and objectives:
“Data sharing is just the mean, not the end …”. With this premise in mind, during this session we will discuss relevant aspects to be considered when trying to get high value out of our data, mostly when including the new dimension of data sharing (through data spaces). Based on previous and ongoing discussions (sessions during the Data Week / Data Spaces Symposium in Darmstadt, ongoing BDVA paper, BDVA value creation framework), we bring together experts that will dive deeper on some key aspects for data value creation, will present different perspectives on the topic, and will identify additional paths to explore:
- “Value-by -design” in data lifecycle and data sharing. Tools and technical components
- AI and data / data spaces
- Applications on top of data / data spaces (AI driven and more …)
- Experimentation as key for data value creation
- Data products (tech, business, legal) as a key concept for data sharing and data trading
- Value and data driven business models, cross-sector and sector oriented (e.g. monetisation, …)
- Impact and Use cases
- Additional aspects for value: data quality, data protection, governance, conformity
