12 March / Darmstadt, Germany
5 June / Leuven, Belgium
The Data Week is the spring gathering of the Big Data and Data Driven AI research and innovation community in Europe.
Data Week always transcended the confines of a mere week-long discussion, as it embodied a fusion of several local and international events aimed at nurturing the field’s growth. Each event delved into various topics that adhere to a core theme. Data Week 2024 will extend its activities and events over the year to accommodate the dynamic changes that data and AI bring to our businesses and society, connecting our meeting days with other relevant events, emphasising the need for collaboration.
See you at Data Week 2024!

WELCOME BACK TO DATA WEEK
Organised by BDVA, Data Week 2024 will center its focus on the fundamental elements of Data Value creation. Artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a pivotal tool in unlocking data value through various means. Creating value from data also requires viewing it from an ecosystem perspective and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders, which lays the groundwork needed for research excellence, that is required to be rapidly put into action for competitiveness and societal benefit.
On 12 March 2024, Data Week will take place under the umbrella of the Data Spaces Symposium 2024, in Darmstadtium, Darmstadt (Germany). DSS is organised by DSBA (BDVA, FIWARE, Gaia-X, IDSA) and the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC). Make sure to register NOW!
Data Week 2024 will continue on 5 June 2024, in conjunction with the LAILEC conference organised by KU-Leuven, in Belgium. Our meeting’s main topics will gravitate around the legal and ethical aspects of data and AI: automated compliance, ethics in Foundation models, and more details will be provided soon.
Our Data Week will extend throughout the year, with additional dates to be announced shortly. Stay updated by following us on https://data-week.eu/, https://bdva.eu/ and https://www.data-spaces-symposium.eu/ and our social media channels!
